	A chapter title page featuring Advantis. This is the first picture I shaded using screen tones. As you can tell, it's hard to resize it so it still looks good.

	Advantis and her pet rabbit Vander appreciate the morning sunshine in a port town.
	I've been drawing this character for ages, but the design never came out right. However, I drew this up and suddenly it was like, yeah! This is pretty much exactly what I had in my head. The large machine on his body is just an arcane harness that has become fused to his body. I like the way his hair dreads up and merges with the metal at the top.
	An elaborate castle structure built by an eccentric designer. Water is pumped up from the sea for use in the castle's systems, before being repurified and ejected from the top of the main egg to form a lovely waterfall around the smooth outer shell.

	Boring, simple picture of Niaz, just to get his character design dahn. He's cute. Shiny clothes are great.
	Advantis is a trader who travels throughout the world in a ship selling rare and unusual goods. Because of her second name, vulpine-esque face and cunning nature, she was nicknamed Advantis the Fox. This title didn't offend her, in fact she wears false fox ears and a tail to uphold the comparison. She and her crew are also often jokingly referred to as 'pirates', in reference to their old-fashioned ship and Advantis's bizarre sword.
	A race of six-armed pale-blue skinned creatures were being destroyed by a united force of neighbouring planets, but in a last attempt to preserve their culture, the Emperor and Empress of the Silenys family empire place their daughter within suspended animation on board a massive self-repairing spherical battleship, to be awakened when the ship's repairs and upgrades were complete. However, Princess Silenys's stasis was interrupted, and she emerged early. Now, as the last of her species, she travels with a group of pirates.
